Description And Objectives

Communicating scientific or health-related topics is never simple. Between technical data, evolving recommendations, and diverse audiences, the risk of misunderstanding or misinformation is high. Yet clear and accessible messages can strengthen trust, improve understanding, and support informed action.

Through practical tools and hands-on workshops, you will learn how to make scientific and health information clearer, more reliable, and better adapted to your audiences.

Training Plan

Day 1

Understanding your audience and their needs

  • Identify expectations, knowledge levels, and motivations across different audiences, and adapt tone, style, and format accordingly.
  • Explore cognitive biases and perceptions that influence how scientific information is understood.

Structuring complex information into clear and trustworthy messages

  • Master plain-language principles, narrative techniques, and readability tools.
  • Identify the core message, prioritize information, and present content in an engaging way.

Day 2

Verifying, contextualizing, and strengthening message credibility

  • Identify reliable sources, contextualize information, and validate content before publication.

Collaborating with experts for maximum impact

  • Prepare and conduct effective interviews with scientists or health professionals.
  • Manage uncertainty and shifting recommendations to produce clear, credible, and impactful messages.

Each module includes practical exercises and real case studies, along with concrete tools and resources to support the integration of new skills.

Target Audience

This training is designed for communication professionals who, without being scientists or health experts, play a key role in translating complex information into clear, accessible, and high-impact messages.
