In this comprehensive two-day course, participants will gain an understanding of the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment. The SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master across the entire enterprise and prepares participants to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment at all levels of a SAFe organization. This includes learning the key components of Agile development at scale, how Scrum is facilitated in the enterprise, and how to execute iteration planning.
Participants will also learn how to create highly skilled Agile teams by becoming leaders and coaches for them, and how to coach these teams to deliver maximum business value at scale. The SAFe® 5 Scrum Master (SSM) certification means that users are ready to play the role of Scrum Master in a SAFe environment, increasing their value to teams and organizations implementing SAFe.
At the end of the course, participants will be eligible to take the SAFe® 5 Scrum Master (SSM) exam and receive a one-year certified membership in the SAFe community upon passing.
